These BLT Wraps with a secret sauce feature crisp bacon, juicy grape tomatoes, and shredded lettuce. You will love bacon, lettuce and tomato wraps for lunch, a snack, or even an appetizer!

BLT sandwiches are a classic, one that you and I have likely had our fair share of, no doubt. Over the years, I’ve seen the BLT take on many forms, one of which is a favorite of mine, BLT Flatbreads with Avocado Spread (seriously, yum!). I’ve also seen BLT dip, and this recipe for BLT pasta salad is always a hit. With bacon, how can you go wrong? This is my take on a BLT Wrap but I made them with a special sauce that adds a layer of flavor that you’re going to love. Let’s make them! ❤️Ashley

BLT Wrap Ingredients

Only a few ingredients are needed to make this recipe.

  • tortillas – burrito sized tortillas work best here
  • bacon – crispy bacon, crumbled
  • lettuce – shredded iceberg lettuce is always a classic. You can also use romaine lettuce, or for a more nutrient-rich option, try spinach
  • tomato – I used quartered grape tomatoes. You can also use Roma tomatoes or a standard tomato. Season the tomatoes with a little salt and pepper
  • secret sauce – more on that in just a minute!

Secret Sauce for BLT Wraps

When I decided I wanted to make a BLT Wrap recipe, I didn’t want it to be ordinary, so I thought about a way I could distinguish it from other BLT options. I decided that what these BLT Wraps needed to make things more flavorful and exciting was a special secret sauce.

I tried several different combinations of ingredients before finally perfecting the perfect trio of ingredients. To make the secret sauce for BLT wraps, you’ll need:

  • cream cheese
  • mayo
  • Dijon mustard
  • salt and pepper

Who would have thought that the combination of cream cheese, mayo, and dijon would pair so perfectly with the BLT? If you don’t have cream cheese or Dijon mustard on hand, regular mayo will do the trick but the sauce compliments these wraps perfectly.

How to assemble wraps:

  • prepare the filling: in a large bowl, combine the chopped cooked bacon with shredded lettuce, tomatoes, and the secret sauce. Mix to combine.
  • add the filling to a tortilla: scoop ½ cup of filling towards the bottom ⅓ of the tortilla and spread it across nearly the entire width of the tortilla
  • roll it up: bring the bottom of the tortilla up over the filling, then roll it up tightly.

Making Bacon for Wraps

My favorite way to cook bacon for wraps is in the oven. Here’s my guide on how to bake bacon. I line a rimmed baking sheet with foil and arrange the bacon slices, then place the tray in a cold oven before turning it on to 400 degrees Fahrenheit from anywhere between 20-25 minutes. Once the bacon is crisp, I pull it out of the oven and transfer the bacon to a paper-towel lined plate to drain. It’s the easiest, simplest way I know of to cook bacon.

Ta-da….. BLT Wraps! Look how pretty they look! You will be able to make 4 burrito sized wraps out of this recipe.

  • Cut each wrap in half so that you end up with 8 halves
  • Bacon, lettuce and tomato wraps are best eaten fresh, as the sauce tends to make the rest of the ingredients soggy.

Here are some ideas of what to serve with BLT wraps if you are making them for lunch:
